ABOUT NIHAR SAVALA
He graduated from the esteemed Berklee College of Music, Boston where he studied Piano & Composition. Performing & touring for the past 20 years with some of the eminent artists/bands like Trilok Gurtu, Luminous (NYC), Dr. L.Subramanium, Hariprasad Chaurasia, Mandolin U Srinivas, and many more. As a Music Educator with 10 years of teaching experience, his students hail from Beginners to musicians who are already associated with Bands/Music Groups & even Classical teachers who want to advance their Musical Vocabulary in Contemporary styles like Pop Rock, Jazz, Latin, Fusion & World Music. He has been trained under various Pianists such as Neill Olmstead (M.Mus, New England Conservatory), Ross Ramsay (B.Mus, Berklee College of Music) Tony Pinto (Royal School of Music, London), Schubert Vaz & Late Michael Mercado. He is also the recipient of the “Berklee Achievement Scholarship” by Berklee College of Music & T.B.Punwani Scholarship by Jai Hind College for “Outstanding Achievements in Music”.

STUDENTS PRE-REQUISITES: Students should be able to read Staff/Western Notation. Have basic playing skills, both hands.
ABOUT WORKSHOP
In this course, you will learn 1 technical finger exercise related to arpeggios & 1 short piece related to it. Interesting Exercise for warm-up. This will help with ambidexterity, improve staff sight-reading skills. One more exercise for your daily practice & another piece in your repertoire.
