ABOUT WORKSHOP
Layout or composition plays a very important role in Graphic design. It is the way the elements are set or arranged on a page. It attracts the viewers’ attention to the page, it also sets the mood of the viewer. It gives a visual hierarchy of the page. Great layouts are often made using grids. Working with grids has its own benefits and it can definitely work very well for certain kinds of layouts.
Many times, students or professional designers are used to doing static layouts. They always take references for their design and wonder how to come up with dynamic layouts. There are millions of ways to design a layout, here we are going to explore some ingenious ways of designing layouts without using any kind of references.
Learn two methods of breaking the grid and coming up with original layouts without any references. Engaging participants in small exercises and finally coming up with two major assignments. Discussions with all the participants and exchanging ideas about the outcome.
